Raising Line of Credit We help businesses secure Line of Credit through Bank Guarantees obtained via Collateral Transfer facilities.

Raising Line of Credit

At Jade Corporate Advisors, we help throuhgh our Global Strategic Firm to support businesses secure Line of Credit through Bank Guarantees obtained via Collateral Transfer facilities. Banks typically have no issue providing credit against such Bank Guarantees, which can be leveraged up to 100% of their face value, less interest and associated bank fees. However, common lending ranges are between 70-80% of the face value of the Guarantee. The credit term is tied to the validity of the Guarantee, usually between 1 to 5 years, but never exceeding the Guarantee’s expiry date.

These Bank Guarantees are issued specifically for securing Line of Credit and follow the ICC 758 protocol—a stringent set of rules that govern all types of Guarantees and payments. Guarantees issued under this protocol are widely accepted by international and private banks and are referred to as Letters of Guarantee, Credit Facilities Guarantees, or Standby Letters of Credit (SBLC).

Although the Bank Guarantee is secured through a Collateral Transfer facility, it does not affect the quality or reliability of the Guarantee. The wording strictly adheres to ICC758 standards, with no reference to ‘lease,’ ensuring it can be used effectively to raise loans and credit.

Applicable Fees

When applying for a Bank Guarantee to secure Line of Credit or loans, interest charges and a Contract Fee (which covers the Bank Guarantee rental) will apply. International lending rates for loans backed by high-quality collateral typically hover around 3% per annum for a 12-month term, though this may vary by jurisdiction and currency.

These facilities are ideal for financial needs within 5-year terms, especially for projects with high returns, where higher annual interest costs are justifiable. While terms beyond 5 years are possible, they are less suited for Collateral Transfer facilities, and we generally recommend avoiding such durations.

How Can Strategic Partner Swiss Assist?

Our Strategic Partner Swiss assists clients in raising credit through these Bank Guarantees, even if their current bank declines to offer lending facilities. With strong ties to private equity groups and banks interested in expanding lending opportunities, we can facilitate introductions to these institutions. Please note that additional fees may apply for utilizing our services to obtain Credit Line.

In addition, Strategic Partner Swiss can assist with opening banking and lending facilities for select clients by directly introducing them to interested banks.
